The Happiest Place on Earth!

If you haven't been paying attention, Tyler and I LOVE Disneyland! So much in fact, that one year we had year passes and went like eight times. So it was only a matter of time before Nixon had his first trip to the happiest place on earth! This last week all of Tyler's family headed to California for a week of fun and we HAD to join them.

First off we we headed to Disneyland for two days. Nixon LOVED every minute of it! He was so content chilling in his stroller all day but loved life even more when he was able to go on a few rides!

Thank goodness for Grandma's and Grandpa's. They were so pleased when they got to chill with Nixon as we went on a few rides that he was too small for.

Meeting his first and only character there. I had no desire to stand in any of the lines to snap a picture with the other characters.

He was so mesmerized on every ride he went on.

After two days at Disneyland we needed a "chill" day so we rented a boat and drove it around the harbor. Doesn't get more chill than that.

As happy and cute as he looks in that life jacket, he was less than pleased to be wearing it. It didn't last long at all.

After the boat ride we went to hang out on the beach for a while to let Nixon go wild. He LOVED it!

I seriously think this kid could have spend hours at the beach crawling around, watching the waves, digging in the sand and eating it as well!

All in all, it was a great trip and we had a blast, but it is a LOT more work taking a vacation with a child! There will definitely be more Disneyland vacations to come!
