It's true, I've been published! My latest project has been working on my blog book through Blurb. I seriously worked on this thing for several hours a day for like a good month straight. My work paid off as I am quite please and obsessed with my book. I've always considered this blog to be my journal, but now after having it printed it REALLY is a tangible journal now. The beast is 200 pages long and people have already enjoyed reading through it. It's also a good feeling to know that if anything were to ever happen to the blog online, that I have the majority of it printed and saved.
Tyler's brother is getting married in two weeks and I had fun making his soon-to-be wifey a bridal shower gift.
Totally easy as I just glued some wood letters and picture frame onto a canvas and spray painted the whole thing. I also went through and painted a darker color around the edges to make the letters pop.
Next was the picture frame. I wood glued several pieces of wood, three across and two deep so it would stand up on its own, and let it dry. Then I added some little knick knacks and the clips and spray painted it all together. I also added some dark paint again to give it the antique look so it would match the canvas above. Love the way they both turned out!
