I never got around to formally doing a two year update on Nixon, and now that he is 25 months and his baby brother is coming next month, I figured I better get around to it before baby boy steals the show temporarily.
Looking SO old at his two year check up.
Weight: 28 lbs 10 oz
Height: 37"
Some of Nixon's favorite things right now:
Not so much the slip n slide...as you can tell by his face.
But loves to play in the pool. Big or small.
This kiddie pool sure has come in handy for a quick swims in the backyard.
He has become quite the snuggler and I LOVE it. Every morning he wakes up, comes in my room, climbs up into bed with me and will spoon right up against me. My favorite time. Before bed he always asks to "guggles", which can be really tiring sometimes, but still so sweet.
I think this boy will be in for a rude awakening when baby brother comes. On the mornings when Tyler is still home he becomes extremely jealous when I snuggle up with his dad instead of him and will weasel himself right in between us and say, "my mommy!"
He sure did have fun helping me bring down all the baby clothes though.
And thinks it's fun to climb into the crib...which just so happens to be his time out. I guess we will have to find a new spot for that soon.
His favorite toys right now are his water torpedos, trains and airplanes.
Loves his "green juice"....green machine Naked juice.
Loves fruit snacks, string cheese, pb and honey sandwiches, pizza and caaaandy. junk food boy!
He loves to get into the drawer in the kitchen where the screwdrivers and flashlights are. Seriously a light freak still.

We really have to watch what we say around this boy because he repeats EVERYTHING! I'm learning that I must say "Oh gosh" and "Oh shoot" A LOT because any time he drops or breaks something it's usually followed by him saying one of the two.
LOVES to brush his teeth and gets upset when I try to help him. He has become quite the independent little boy, always saying "No, I do it!"

He is at such a fun age and becoming so big it's scary!
