These boys are growing before my eyes and I really need to be better about writing down all the silly things they do and say. An update once a year just isn't cutting it. 
Nixon has been long over his naps, but occasionally I can get him to snuggle with me a take a nap. He is my snuggler and I love it. Every night he asks to snuggle and he is just fine with it being five seconds or five minutes, as long as he gets a little snuggle in he is pleased and goes right to sleep afterwards.
He has also had two cleanings at the dentist and walked away cavity free! I was so bummed I totally missed his first one because they cleaned us both at the same time and I was so worried the whole time as to how he was doing. He's a super shy kid and freezes up when he doesn't know people. He ended up doing great though and was pumped for his new Cars toothbrush.
Nixon also LOVES to help in the kitchen. I swear he hears me open the fridge and he comes running. Anytime any sort of cooking is going on he is perched up on the counter begging to help.
He had a hard crash on the longboard a few weeks ago and totally messed up his face. He said he never wanted to ride it again. But alas, the next day I found him riding the longboard again. His nose also healed up quite nicely.
As soon as the weather turned this kid has been asking for his hot cocoa in his penguin cup on a daily basis. He's a hot cocoa junkie.
The amount of white paper we go through in this house is kind of insane. Nixon is my crafty kid. I can find him daily at the kitchen table with markers or water colors going to town. He is always so proud of his artwork and never tires of creating new pictures. I really love this about him and my pile of Nixon artwork is seriously getting out of hand.
