Ah my favorite time of the year! Tyler and I are so blessed to have both our families live so close to us so we don't have to travel during the busy holiday season. We have enjoyed burning fires in the fireplace, sipping hot chocolate, spending lots of quality time with families, snowboarding (well at least Tyler has), decorating the house all festive-like and just enjoying our time together.

Sisterly love on Christmas Eve at Gigi's house

I was very impressed with my brother Bryce, Brother-in-law Kevin, dad and husband with their amazing singing talent during the Nielson talent show. If only you could have heard the lyrics they made up to sing along to a Christmas tune. Lets just say we are happy Gigi made it alive through it.

The traditional nativity scene created by all the cousins. Somehow each year it tends to get a little less and less spiritual...Nielson's sure know how to have a good time. Bryce and Meghan made it down for Christmas and the nativity scene this year with their precious little baby Dax. We have had such a blast kickin' it with them for the last two weeks and are going to be so sad to see them go back to the land of Kentucky.

Christmas morning! WOW...are my thoughts every year we wake up and march in a straight line to the living room at the Farnsworth home. Since all the kids are still at home and so young, we like to spend Christmas morning at Tyler's family house. All the kids sleep in one room together and play games or watch movies till the wee hours of the morning. Tyler loves being able to spend this time with his siblings while they are all still home and young. We had a blast sleeping over with them and it reminded me of the times when all my siblings were all still at home sleeping together and having mom and dad come in with the video camera early in the morning... which is exactly how it goes at the Farnsworth's.

My big gift from Tyler this year was an iMac...which is a vast improvement from my last computer! Tyler is such an amazing husband and always out-does himself! I also received a sewing machine and am SO beyond excited to being crafting and creating fun little projects!

I was very proud of myself for being so sneaky and being able to figure out my big gift for Tyler this year which was his gun. He was so surprised and absolutely loved it. Mission accomplished!
We are so blessed and grateful for our families and for the many great things which we continue to receive!
Totally love all the posts. And I have to admit it. An I-mac, how jealous am I? Congrats that is awesome.
