Holiday Home+a few crafts

I LOVE Christmas time! For many reasons such as: cooler weather and sipping hot cocoa, to family time and the many traditions, and simply just reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas. I also love to decorate my house for Christmas. I have never been that great(but am working on) decorating for all the seasons year round. Needless to say, when Thanksgiving is over and done with, the Christmas decor comes out. Something about having a child in the house makes it so much more fun as well. So here are just a few snapshots of our home from the holidays.

It wouldn't feel like Christmas time without some good 'ol holiday baking. There was lots of cinnamon roll and festive cookie baking. Lets just say my kitchen was a continual disaster without a dishwasher.

I had a fun time making a few Christmas gifts for my sister and mother-in-law this year. Courtney has been wanting a ruffled shirt since she saw the one I made. She also received that skirt I made, so we needed a few matching headbands to go along with it all.
I saw this super cute idea for a clock on a blog. So after steeling my mother-in-laws wedding photo album, scanning it in to photo shop and adding the numbers and words, it was super easy to make. Costco prints off 12x12, modge podged it on to some wood and bought the clock pieces from no where other than the great Hobby Lobby.
I just had to throw this in. Don't those colors look great! I started making my own baby food and it is super easy. This way we always have fresh fruits and veggies available all the time.
