First Day of Summer

My mind was a little baffled yesterday when I heard on the news that yesterday was the first "official" day of summer! What? I guess not every place is smokin' like Arizona where we consider it to be summer at the end of May. It sure is a good thing I love summer! Nixon LOVES to be outside and will quite often run to the door saying "sigh, sigh". So needless to say we have already made about a zillion trips to the pool at Hamilton high, Basha high (both of which have GREAT play areas) and neighbor pools. I was starting to getting tired of having to load everything up for the both of us to go swim for maybe two hours, so I ordered our very own pool for the backyard. Best $7 I have ever spent! Nixon gets to splash around in the pool with the hose and I get to get my tan on!
