This has been the fastest, yet slowest four month of my life. Fastest because I can't believe this baby is already four months, but slowest because I feel like he has seriously been with us forever. I don't know how we ever enjoyed life without him. His four months stats are:
Weight: 15 lbs 2 oz
Height: 25 3/4"
He is significantly heavy and shorter than Nixon was at this age. Looks like he'll have the Nielson squaty body!
But seriously, let's talk about how this kid is the best baby ever. He has made having another baby a piece of cake. We've had some rough days/nights here and there, but nothing to complain about. He is such a happy baby and has the cutest laugh ever! I live to make him laugh each day.
Who knew blowing spit bubble and drool could be so cute?! This kid's got a lot of it, and I mean a lot!
He recently started sitting in the bumbo. Oh how we love the bumbo! He loves to be able to chat and laugh at himself in the bathroom while I get ready to. He is seriously already close to escaping the bumbo as well. The tray is a must so he doesn't bust his head open.
We got ourselves another little thumb sucker. It's seriously the sweetest thing. with the amount of time he was shoving his hands in his mouth since he was a newborn I knew it was only a matter of time. I am completely okay with this though. I can put him down in his crib and he goes right to sleep after finding his thumb. And the best part: No missing binkies, or always making sure we bring one, or freaking out because we forgot to bring one. The thumb goes everywhere with us. He is usually taking about 3 naps a day anywhere from 1-2 hours. Night time is still a little iffy. For a while I would put him down about 10 and he would sleep till 5, eat, and then for another 3 hours. The last little bit he has been waking up at around 2 now as well which I am not too pleased about. I'm hoping it's just a growth spurt and not a knew routine.
He kills me with cuteness!
I think the blue eyes are here to stay!! Along with his awesome hair!
He can be upset and hungry or just mad and in pain....but no matter what it is still so easy to change his mood and get him to laugh. I love that about him.
He recently found his feet and loves to grab onto them.
Rolls over front to back and is all over the place! No more leaving him on the bed or couch.
