Levi's unofficial 6 month stats taken by me:
17.4 lbs
26 3/4"
This boy is short, sweet and chunky! Just a little perspective, Nixon was 17 pounds at 9 months old and 27" at 4 months old.
Seriously, they do not come any sweeter than this. I'm so happy that those blue eyes are here to stay! I never thought I'd have a blue eyed baby, but with that long blonde hair to go with it....mmm he is the cutest!
But seriously, he is such a happy baby, and if he's mad, it is easy to change his mood quickly.
We are back to a better sleeping schedule this month, thank goodness. That was his only downfall for a while. I thought he had a tooth coming in, but alas, still no little teethers. He is taking two naps a day for about 1 1/2-2 hrs each and goes down for the night about 8:30. He will sometimes wake up throughout the night, but will go right back to sleep when I pop the paci back in his mouth. He'll wake up for real to eat at about 4 and then go back to sleep again till about 8. Oh yeah, and he is a paci boy now. He only sucked his thumb for about a month which makes me terribly sad. Not only is it the sweetest thing when they suck their thumb, but they sleep soooo much better!
Ahhh and he is officially on the move! He has been scooting around for a while now, but just before he turned six month he officially started crawling. He is all over the place now and especially likes to climb up onto lower ledges and under kitchen chairs.
Since the day he was born he has had the best, long, blonde hair. He has kept the length on the top, but the length on the sides somehow shrunk. With it just getting longer on the top I could no longer spike it up and it would just fall over, so he was beginning to pull off an impressive Donald Trump combover look. After leaving his hair in the cutest little pony tail all day Tyler agreed to let me give him a little trim on the top of about an inch...and it is still long!
He has started eating more baby food and loves it. I love that he is at the happy snaking stage. Baby snacks keep him content in the bumbo forever!
He loves Nixon! Anytime I am nursing him and he hears Nixon talking he tries so hard to try and find him. They can sit and play in their room so well together for a long time.
We finally moved Levi to the crib in Nixon's room(!) and life is so much better! It took us a while because I was afraid they would just wake each other up, but they don't and life is great. I love hearing them wake up at the same time in the morning and talk to each other.
Life with two boys is the best!
