Update on the Boys

I'm getting ready to start putting together our second blog book and wanted to make sure I was as up to date as possible. I always thought I was a little outrageous updating about the boys at every month or couple of months, but looking back now I am so grateful I have been doing it. I love to look back and see how similar or different the two were at the same age, or what they were or weren't doing, or when they started a new milestone. I haven't been up to date with actual baby books, but I figure updating this is just as good, if not better.

Levi at 7 months

 The dude is a tank and has the chunkiest thighs, I love it!

Still no teeth

loves baby food...and just eating in general. Could snack forever in his chair and mastered getting food into his mouth on his own.

pulls himself up and stands up whenever he can(Seriously? Too early!)

Sweetest baby with the happiest attitude ever.

Forget about baby toys, he is all about Nixon's toys.
Had his first double ear infection.

Thinks Nixon is hilarious. 

Has yet to sleep a solid night straight through and might kill me. The whole "cry it out" method doesn't really work when the two boys share a room. But he does go to sleep on his own when I put him down in the crib.

Doesn't like to be left in a room alone. 

Loves the bath.

Breathes heavily through his nose when he gets excited.

Vocabulary consists of "dadadadadada"

Nixon at 2 years and 9 months...almost 3?! yeesh!

Great sleeper and still takes 2-3 hour naps.

Stole his first little item (chapstick) from the store.

Legos are his favorite.

He thinks it's fun to make Levi laugh.

Always has to be helping when I'm in the kitchen. He must see everything at all times.

Uncle Dallin is still his favorite.

Cuties, strawberries, cheese, pb and honey sandwiches and chips are his favorite things to eat.

Knows how to vocally spell his name and can identify about 1/2 of the alphabet.

Has to publicly announce every time he toots. Such a boy.

You can hear him daily quoting two youtube videos, "baby monkey" and "I bust the windows out yo car!"

Madagascar 3, Oso, and Curious George are his goto shows/movies

Loves to snuggle!
