Anyone else have one-two many Cadburry Eggs this Easter? I was strong and only bought one bag...I don't think it lasted more than two days though. I'll just blame this guy...
We kicked off our Easter weekend with a little egg decorating. We managed to get away with cracking only one egg.
There's no better way to reflect upon Christ and his sacrifice than going down to the temple and watching the Easter Pageant. We enjoyed dinner and the company of good friends for several hours out on the temple lawn the night before Easter Sunday.
I typically prefer to do all the "Easter Bunny" traditions the day before Sunday, but with a busy morning it was pushed to Easter morning and a trail of jelly beans lead Nixon and Levi to their Easter baskets which were full of a few treats, chalk, bubbles, Wreck it Ralph and new shirts for church. Thank goodness for 11:00am church so Nixon was able to search for those well decorated eggs of his.
Ready for church
Gosh, these boys just melt me in their matching outfits
After church we headed to my parents for Easter dinner. The cousins had another Easter egg hunt and then spent a great amount of the rest of the evening hiding empty eggs for each other throughout the backyard.
candy, candy, candy, iPhone. Repeat.
haha oh my gosh!!! The pics of Nixon hugging Levi, priceless!!! Your boys are absolutely adorable!!
