Want to know my latest addiction? Making Bow-ties! I'm obsessed with them and how cute they are on little boys. Nixon is quickly acquiring a bow-tie in every color and size.
Nixon slept in till almost 9:30 this morning! I know! So I had some spare time on my hands and I've had this shelf and picture frame sitting in my closet begging to be re-finished. I have been wanting to make a shelf for Nixon's room, but let be honest, it's way more complicated for my liking. So I picked these bad boys up for two bucks each a few months ago.
I didn't even have enough paint for the both of them so I decided to go for the more "rustic" look.
The shelf needed some extra "pick-me-up" so I added the twine and buttons.
And there you have her, re-finshed and hanging all in one day!
