Easter Weekend

What a great time to reflect upon on our Savior, Jesus Christ and his resurrection.
It's safe to say that we had a jam packed and very eventful Easter Weekend! This was Nixon's first Easter and he was all about the eggs. I'm sure one year we will make it to the spiritual part.
As tradition, we head over to the Farnsworth's on Saturday morning for some scrumptious breakfast, followed by an easter egg hunt. Nixon would have been totally content playing with one egg(as you can see our basket is empty)the whole time. Throwing it, opening and closing it, and so on.

I let him take a bite into his first peep. Uhh can you say sugar overload in one bite?!
I almost had a mom FAIL moment this Easter as I neglected to buy things for an Easter basket for Nixon. So on our way to the in-laws I made Tyler run into the store real quick to pick up a few things. I should learn better by now to not do this as he usually comes out with more candy for himself. Silly boy!
Easter morning all ready for church

And of course my child would fall right into a pile of grass. Oh yeah and see that angry face? That's his new thing he likes to do. He has pretty much made that face for about a week straight now from being sick to teething. Make it end!
After church we headed over to my parents house where we yet again devoured ourselves in some more delicious food followed by another Easter egg hunt with his cousins. I think he began to realize that there were jelly beans in these ones, which quickly became his favorite treat.
Sadly, this is the only picture I had with all our faces. My apologies. "the women" of the family, watching the boys have a good 'ol time.

....now I believe it's time to detox our bodies!
