So this last weekend Tyler and I headed up to our good friends cabin with the Bowyers for a little R&R. This was a trip I'm sure we will all remember for years to come. We tried to head up North before the big blizzard hit, but were just a few hours too late. Luckily we were in our big truck with 4-wheel drive, however the Bowyers were not as fortunate and had a few slip 'n slides on the road. Long story short and several hours later of shuttle bussing, we all made it to the cabin. Typically a 4 hour drive that ended up taking us 10 hours to get there. It seriously snowed non stop while we were there and it was so beautiful. Nothing better than being shut up in a cabin while it's snowing like crazy.
I was really excited to take Nixon to the snow for the first time. He seemed to enjoy until we plopped him down in the snow. He was just so cute in his puffy little snow suit!
So this is what we woke up to the next morning and it only got worse as the days went on. I believe that in the 3 days we were there the cabin got about 3 feet of snow.
We couldn't be up at the cabin for several days and NOT get a good crafting sesh. in! We crafted it up while the boys played football. It was a win-win situation. (Pictures to come soon of the craft! Be excited)
We love the Bowyers and their cabin and always have such a blast up there with them! Thanks guys!
